where do I look for marks?

I doubt any were made in 'china. These are all at least 20 years old

I can't find markings at all.

You know WM, I understand. I don't understand what has value. I see some crazy intricate German clock from the 1700's that looks immaculate and probably took a year to build, then some blanket made in Arizona ends up being worth 50 times more. I don't get what makes something valuable I guess.

My grandfather died last year at 97 and we recently found these in his closet. 2-3 of them still cock and generate power, but most, are bits and pieces. There are some of obvious different era's, but that doesn't really mean anything. Would any of these possibly have any value to a collector...
