Thanks for the heads up! I grabbed the 4x32x50 since it has a 5 rifle memory I thought I'd probably move it between different rifles where the distance capabilities would be better used. I bought mine at my local Scheels since they price match and I hate Amazon. Range day to break it in...

I bought the Texan .457 SS for long range shooting. It's my first air gun, but I think I made a solid choice for what I want to do with it. 

It did arrive and it works exactly as advertised. That being said, I also bought a regboy which is my go to and the Altaros is my back up.

Thanks for the heads up. I've been thinking about giving a Wraith a try. What made you choose the 2x16x28 over the 4x32x50?

Just an update, the Tough Built bag worked perfectly! With all the pockets it's easy to get carried away with loading it down with a bunch of crap I don't need. Seems silly, but the shoulder strap is pretty awesome. Balances the bag and doesn't slide off my shoulder. The wide mouth opening...

I have the dual cylinder Tuxing and it's been great. Bought it on Amazon because I wanted a 4 year warranty. 

It's the 30 inch. I got it on Amazon. 

Having said that I just found something new. A wide mouth toolbox for $89. 4 Hard sides, like 40 pockets some zippered with hard rubber feet and a shoulder strap. I outlined the whole thing with a rubber mat. I like it better than the golf bag. Tomorrow will be its first test at the range. 

It's a converted golf bag I use to carry my 9L cf tank and gear. 

I went with the Tuxing dual cylinder 4500psi compressor. It seems like it's a step up from the YH. At least in my opinion. I bought it off amazon along with the 4 year warranty. It filled my 9L from 0 to 4300 somewhere between 35-45 minutes. So far I have no complaints.

Here's the solution I'm using for my 98cu. So far it's working great. Lots of pockets and I can use the backpack straps to carry it and it frees up my hands to carry my gun, targets.....

Thanks for the resource tips! I'm buying my lead off of eBay for about $2/pound. Only the new, soft, fluxed ingots. Where are you guys getting your lead? 

I'm using a ladle. My lead is new, soft and fluxed. I'm pretty sure I wasn't waiting long enough after dumping in the sprues combined with possibly pouring too slow. I'm already using or doing most of these suggestions, so maybe it's just getting into a rhythm and letting my lead get back up...

This is great info guys, thanks. I'm using a hot plate to heat and keep the mold warm already and a digital thermometer. I I know there were times when I would put large amounts of the run off and sprues back into the pot and then poured as soon as I saw it melt. That could be the problem. ...
