I'm just concerned that the hammer in my Talon won't be heavy enough to engage the high flow valve

So I've currently got an airforce talon in .22 and would like to barrel up to .25. Is the current hammer in my talon heavy enough to engage a talonP/escape valve? I'm planning on buying a 18" barrel and a talonp air tank. If not what exactly will I need to make my upgrade work? Thanks
