Mounting Holosun 507c Reflex Sight on Huben GK1 - Sight In (Issues and Resolution)

Oh, you are making me blush. ;) Don't be harsh on yourself. We've all messed up on these kinds of things. Like an idiot, I bought one of these cheap Pinty laser sights, the kind with 3 tiny LR41 batteries. I'm looking at it thinking, why the heck did I buy this POS? It's canted to the...

Mounting Holosun 507c Reflex Sight on Huben GK1 - Sight In (Issues and Resolution)

Nevermind, I went to the reddotmate website and looked up the adapter. You must have a gap between the bottom and the receiver. When you tighten the screw it bends the piece in the front upward. So either your receiver is deeper, or your reddotmate bottom piece is not as deep as it should be...

Mounting Holosun 507c Reflex Sight on Huben GK1 - Sight In (Issues and Resolution)

My GK1 rear sight used a flat head screw. I simply reused it. Is the bottom of the hole tapered at 90 degrees, or flat bottomed? If you use the socket head cap screw, is the top of the screw below the top of the hole? It should not protrude above the top surface. The photo seems to show...

Mounting Holosun 507c Reflex Sight on Huben GK1 - Sight In (Issues and Resolution)

My sight base is only attached by a single screw to the receiver, but it seems to be ok, if snug but not tight. We both know it is best to tie a sight base down with two screws. I don't know about you, but I try not to mod things like that, if I don't have to. But I did mod my PP700SA...

Mounting Holosun 507c Reflex Sight on Huben GK1 - Sight In (Issues and Resolution)

From here, I can't determine it definitively. Need to measure the plates, the screw lengths, and the flatness of the receiver. These sight adapters rely on the "flatness" of the receiver. @M0ist0ne 's as well as everyone else's. Mine rests on the receiver along the entire length of the...

Mounting Holosun 507c Reflex Sight on Huben GK1 - Sight In (Issues and Resolution)

As you noticed, that isn't going to work well. Front of the sight is pointing to the sky! Need to fix that somehow. Maybe some sort of spacer in the former rear sight cavity, to make it level with the edges? The sight base I have sits flat on the top of the receiver, but if you reef on the...

Mounting Holosun 507c Reflex Sight on Huben GK1 - Sight In (Issues and Resolution)

I am using the factory screw. Things need to be locked in place, but not too tight. I noticed that tightening too much seems to lift the front of the sight upward. Really ought to be a little spacer where the rear sight was.

Mounting Holosun 507c Reflex Sight on Huben GK1 - Sight In (Issues and Resolution)

Here's the picture of an RMR mount. It is asymmetric. I put four more holes in my shim so I could reverse it if necessary. Hope you can figure it out without having to shim it.

Mounting Holosun 507c Reflex Sight on Huben GK1 - Sight In (Issues and Resolution)

It's kind of funny, the wedge isn't really visible when installed, It's 0.023" thick at the thickest point, and 0.010" thick at the thinnest. Here's a pic of the 1 degree wedge. (Just so the angle is more obvious!) My Holosun came with an RMR mount. I used the huben3dparts Unimount with...

Mounting Holosun 507c Reflex Sight on Huben GK1 - Sight In (Issues and Resolution)

Getting back to this, I used a 1/2 degree wedge. I put an extra set of holes in it so the wedge can either raise or lower an RMR sight. Printed with 0.05mm layers, it takes 11 minutes to print. Maybe someone will find it useful. I printed it with PETG.

Mounting Holosun 507c Reflex Sight on Huben GK1 - Sight In (Issues and Resolution)

I had this problem. One solution requires a very thin wedge. I printed one. It might have been either 1 degree or 1/2 degreeb(don't remember). I basically copied the RMR foot print. It worked well enough. However, the culprit is insufficient adjustment of the Holosun sight to handle short...

Huben Huben GK1 V3 red dot mount

I ordered that kit you posted, just to do this operation. Which Holosun did you get? I have a green one with a ring and a dot reticle, with solar power. It's pretty nice, but pricey.

    Crosman No more 2240?

Late as well, but managed to pick up a 2240 back when Amazon marked them down to $45. It was shipped in a cardboard box, rather than a plastic clam shell. A box is so much nicer than those plastic clam shells. I made my own SSG and installed it. You get a decent amount of shots per...

Huben Any issues or problems with Huben gk1 please share your experience

Yes, I've seen blue (and white) teflon come off. Actually, with plumbing threads. Been warned about it by machinists using it next to bearings. Bearings are often expensive, and junk in the bearing is a quick way to ruin one.

Blue teflon tape has a nasty habit of having little bits break off and getting into things. I wouldn't use it in this application. A faucet, sure. Your $1K+ airgun, no. I use it all the time in plumbing, but not where little pieces can affect operation, like precision air valves, or near...
