Hello Vatiger, It is entirely up to you, but keep in mind Vortex has a no questions asked lifetime warranty. IMHO I would use it, if it were to break you will only be out shipping charges. I myself won't put a scope on any firearm I own that does not have a no questions asked lifetime warranty...
