Thanks everyone! It was indeed the bleeder screw that needed a little extra tightening. I put the pump in the bathtub and submerged the bottom valves, which revealed that the bleeder leaks air (though i thought that it's firmly fastened). Thank you so much for all advices and for your kind...

Hello everyone, 1st post here. I'm new to PCP airguns. Today I got Sig Virtus PCP with hand pump. When I try to pump - even without the gun's air tank attached - the air output from the pump is very faint (i could blow more air) and it (the pump) makes - please excuse the language - silly fart...
