Air venturi scba hose
The female part has to be long enough to seal off that hole. all of my tanks are used scba fireman tanks. 4500 psi. they use a cga 347 fitting the nipple has 1/4 npt on the hose side. call air venturi and tell them it want seal off.- Wepop

I think you have the wrong fitting . cga 347 is what I use on my Scott 4500 psi. Tanks.- Wepop
