Take a look at the Florida Wildlife Commissionn FWC website, tells you all about hunting rules here. There's some info on airgun hunting there. Also google Florida Statues and or local ordnances for the county you'll be in because some locals have rules about airgun use.

Yeah I was concerned with accuracy loss. I've cut and crowned and modified a ton of powder burners barrels and never lost any accuracy, just wondered if it was choked and likely to suffer.

Yes, after refill it shoots great. The gauge never budges, totally stuck in the middle whether dead empty or full up, hence my warranty inquiry issue above. Thank goodness it's just the gauge though, as the gun is phenomenal otherwise. As are all of my AAs.

This is why I try prefer airguns with easily replaceable bottles with valve included. If it get's ruined from the nasty Florida air, I can replace it no problem. If you get the receiver off the tube, the detent ball will be exposed. In fact, it wil probably fall right out. Look for XTX BSA videos on youtube, they take lots of BSAs apart in detail for you.

Maybe drop the trigger group and the hammer will fall down?? I haven't rebuilt one of these in about two years but I think I had the trigger group off last time I did. My 4 BSAs are running great otherwise I'd take one down and try to remember all the steps.

Well I shot a few more and it air dumped. I think maybe it's fine but was way below the reg and out of air, but the guage is wrong. It is still showing 180bar even though it dumped. So hopefully it's fine and the gauge is bad making me think it had plenty of air. Will fill in the morning and...

It always popped air because the shroud has vent holes right at the rear very close to the breech making it hard to tell if it's that or the seal, but good idea and I will check the oring.
