Acecare is not making cylinders that are DOT certified, I saw a few in Alibaba.com, you may want to check them out. They are priced a lot more than the tanks that have Euro certification.

This is correct, the dust cover came off when I removed the grub screw.

Hello All, Taipan did respond back to my mail. They said the ball should be under the screw, so they asked me to put it inside and then screw it. Now, my worry is the stripped part, got to figure out how to clear out the stripped portion. Thank you all for helping out. I will let you know it...

Here are pictures of the screw, the screw is not damaged.

The cylinder metal is stripped on the first the 3-4 grooves. I am not sure what the screw does though, it is the one right next to the fill port. Please see the attached image.

I tried putting the screw back in, the screw hole started to strip and I stopped. Any ideas how to go about it. Ordered bondhus ball joint hex keys, waiting for it to get delivered.

I did not disassemble the cocking lever, I don’t think it could have come from there, but I am planning to switch the lever from right to left, I will check then. Would you happen to know where this bearing would go, is there a part number for the bearing that is supposed to be in the cocking...

I am not sure where the bearing is from, I felt something fall out, and I found the bearing on the floor. Maybe it is totally unrelated, I will try to put the screw back in and gas it up. Thank you for checking if your Taipan had a bearing.

While moving back to my home country, I had emptied the air, and removed the screw next to the fill port, I was trying to remove the manometer, not sure what I was thinking, this was in November. My rifle was stuck in customs, and after a lot of back and forth, I finally was able to get it back...
