Honestly drag a patch worm through it,,, load up on jsb exact heavies,,, scope of choice,, mine has a dedal 6x in red laminate...and shoot.... I did adjust trigger a bit.... nothing else to do if you want to shoot heavier just turn up to about 890-910 and shoot...mine does 30mm groups at 100 m...

Right on!!! Air should be pretty clean and dry... Correct lubricant for the seal material is a must...other than breech seals I have been shooting pcps since 83 and never had leaking problems... I can tell you that the first theoben rapid 7 in the us is still only had breech and bottle seal...

what you will have will probably hold honestly till you use the degas screw again, the disk I mention is just to form a fresh conformable seal seat for the ball and fills in any irregularities in the ball seat. If you get sealing seat too wide in HPA applications you loose the seal very often ...

I have used a bat on a lelya .25 and on my .22 matador and it is a very nice addition. I haven't run on a .177 but it is a very nicely made extra bit and the volume bump would probably be noticeable to others around but I doubt to the shooter much... I don't notice the difference on my matador...
