Grew up in the Sierra Nevada mountains where they commonly get 16 feet of snow in 3 days. Got my first deer at 9 years old with an M1917 Eddystone 30.06; served in the USN during the Cold War & Vietnam era. Helped build new construction FFGs (Fast Guided Missile Frigate) as a Marine Electrician, Interior Communications Shop. Lived aboard my sailboat for 10 years. Founding member #43, and first Captain of The Guard, California Vietnam Veterans Memorial Watch Association.
