Mr.bullforg , you would be correct sir! I was checking the specs for the wrong model of texan . I will be trying out the new ammo this weekend . 

When Texas decided to allow air rifles for large game, they put in a minimum of 215 fpe. Making the 99gain from the the Texan an illegal rifle to fire at a white tail. 

I ordered some NSA 128grain as they advertise "the only round we suggest for the texan". It will be delivered tomorrow .

Would you mind sharing the pellet information? Brand, possibly a link . 

Loose tank is not my issue, I know because I broke the wrench trying to remove the tank to have filled. AF did send me a new wrench . I am wondering about the bullet grain. The lightest I have put through the barrel is a 108gr . Yall seem to be shooting much lighter rounds. 

Boys are 6 and 9 . The older boy is shooting the red rider open sight at 10 yards free hand, the 308 texan at 40 and crossbow at 30 , but off a bipod . PCP is not out of the question, but thinking .25 if it is a pcp. Eventually will end up getting both.

I got a .308 texas this summer . With about 200 pellets down the tube , groups do not seem tight at 30 yards . I am get about 3 to 4 " groups . Shooting off a bench with a bipod and rest . I have checked all the typical cases -loose scope rings and mounts . Do I need to give it a longer...

Airforce finally replied to my email , a new one will be mailed out at no charge. Guess it depends on who gets your email whether they cover under warranty or not. 

I searched their website and emailed them. I Could not find it listed. 

I went to take the tank off my airforce texan for about the 3rd time and the wrench broke. Anyone know where to order a new one from or another tool that could be used ? Do not want to scratch the finish wall to Hell trying to get the tank off tho.

What light are you using ?
