I agree Knifemaker , I've tried all the fixes that have been suggested, spent countless hours reading fourms ,and tinkering on this barrel. I own other air rifles of higher quality and never had this problem. Looks like its time to buy another barrel, but I did learn a lot playing with this...

I've had it for about a year and bought it new. I believe you are right about the barrels, How much was the replacement barrel from Hatsan ? 

I have tried H&N,JSB,Benjimin Air Arms,Crossman nothing under 25 gr. I think I got a dud. Does anyone know where I can get a "good" replacement.

It didn't shoot very well out of the box. I shot 1000 rounds then decided to use Nervoustriggers method to accurize it helped some but not what I expected. I am getting 3 to 4 inch groups at 50 yd. It is a Hatsan At 44 .25 cal, and I have used many different pellets .

How long the does it take for the barrel to lead in and accuracy to improve after polishing with bore cleaner ?

Thanks Chuck, I am not planning on filling over 200 bar now after reading more about tune and regulator combination. By the way I am planning on using a Huma reg in a Hatsan AT 44 .25 cal. Thanks to all responses

Thanks for the reply, I was not thinking of 3000 psi up to 4800 psi. that would be very dangerous for anyone involved. 3400 psi ?

I thought I read someone put more pressure in their gun because they are tested well above recommended fill, and having a regulator it would not damage trigger components because of regulated pressure.

Can I increase the pressure to get a higher shot count ?
