Get the 600 or 700 Panthera and have lots of speed and accuracy with heavier slugs in the caliber.

The new heavy superior liner shoots 20gr ZAN 's and H&N slugs very well @ high velocities. The smaller caliber .177 doesn't need more barrel than 600 mm. The 500 mm one doesnt boast the latest panthera"" heavy superior liner. 1/16

I have a Panthera tuned for 50 fpe ZAN's for the hunt. 1060 fps @ 178 bar hst 4.15 The std reg is sloooow. Shoots great.

My Panthera is sending 20gr @ 1050 + (600 mm) ZAN solids

I get many more shots in 4.5mm /177 compared to 5.5mm /.22 if theyre at same speed. There simply is room for way more air behind a .22. The pressure builds up faster so .177 barrel can be shorter aswell and reach desired speed. I have Panthera 600 up and shooting .178 ZAN 20 gr @1050 ish fps...

Mine needs a barrel with more twist is Spitting JSB KO's @ 300 m/s -29 fpe 135-140 bar plenum pressure. Whisper quiet ... she's a looker I think...

Thanks!! I'm ordering some 13 and 16's Soren. I'm will have a friend machine a Lothar Walther 4.5 mm 1:16 barrel this winter and see if I can push longer bullets (solids/slugs) 20gr or apprx twice the length of caliber (9 mm). I have the power but lacking dedicated 1/16 or 1/15 slugbarrel ...

I need to gather some slugs and test. 15 gr NSA are doing well but only tested 20-45 m.... just. I'll be shooting more soon and trying ZAN 's as soon as I know which ones work in my barrel and order some. Considering faster twist barrel if needed to shoot 20gr accurate @1000 ish fps. Remeber...
