FX Lock this thread please- Discussed with Fredrik, there is no evidence of POI shift in FX barrel liner system

I do not use google translate. If I can do one mistake, out of twenty words, I am happy with that:)

FX Lock this thread please- Discussed with Fredrik, there is no evidence of POI shift in FX barrel liner system

What FX has in common with tesla is that they may choose to do things theire own way. Theire products can be quiet unique:)

FX Lock this thread please- Discussed with Fredrik, there is no evidence of POI shift in FX barrel liner system

This discussion somehow reminds me off when tesla cars had a reputation of starting a fire. I personally do not know if tesla cars burn more than other eletric vehicles, but since there is so many of them sold across the world, the likely hood of it being a tesla, is probably bigger than a...

FX Lock this thread please- Discussed with Fredrik, there is no evidence of POI shift in FX barrel liner system

To be fair, I my first gen crown did have POI shift. The liner was obviously bad, as the barrel fouled up really fast, and the moderator had flakes of lead dropping out. That did happen during the same shooting session on the bench, 25 meters on a relative calm day. It was the first generation...

FX Lock this thread please- Discussed with Fredrik, there is no evidence of POI shift in FX barrel liner system

My experiance is that all my guns have some POI change from day to day, regarding them being FX, taipan, or AGT. The main reason for me is because I shoot outdoors. On my airguns, every unoticable litle wind will move the POI. No day will have axactly the same wind conditions. I would guess...

FX Is the FX King a step forward or backward?

Think it is a matter of offering the customers several choises. For some, one gun might be a better option, than another, not that it is necessary better, or worse. In comparison to say taipan, which only offer bullpups, customers have to choose another brand, if they want a full length rifle...

    Other Solid Barrels

Think they still make thouse. Technically one can probably still get the solid smoothvist barrells for never guns, but that would add to the cost, as one had to buy another barrel.

    FX Maverick Valve Question

The first thing I can think of is that the breach O-ring is not sealing properly, and need to be replaced

FX FX Impact M3 vs FX Wildcat MK3, which is louder?

With same barrel length, caliber, moderator, and similar tune. They will be equal on muzzle report. But you will hear the hammer strike more on the wildcat, when shooting the gun, as it will be closer to your ear.

    Preferred Velocities?

My guns also are usually most accurate between 800-850 fps. The factory tunes are usually higher like 880 or so. It could simply be that most guns are tuned higher from factory, to allow a wider range of pellet choises for the customers, and not nesesarry because it is the most accurate speed...

FX Is a single reg maverick a possibility?

Well the intention of two regs is to lessen the wear on the seccond reg. Espesially if the seccond reg is set low, and you fill the gun up to 250 bar. In addition it allows to use 300 bar bottles. I not sure you will get a more reliable gun by deleting the first, as teoretically one reg will...

FX Is a single reg maverick a possibility?

As I see it, there should be no reason the remove the first reg, if you do not intend to use the gun with very high reg pressures (beyond factory intended use), where the first reg pressure would be a limiting factor. Like if you end up with a situation that there is almost no pressure...

FX Must have upgrades Impact M3

If you plan to use the gun on a bench, a bagrider is needed ( if you intend to use a rearbag)

Most slugs are a waste of money because you did not slug your barrel

If you take a.216 - .217 slug and push it with a rod trugh a FX liner, there is a big chance you will see gaps of light (when using a flashlight) between the lands and slug. That gap usually disappear when it enters the choke. That slug can still shoot good. But if it gets to loose the choke...

300* below cryogenics, anyone do it to their AG?

Well it does shrink, while cooled down. But get back to normal size when back at room temperature
