Very nice rifle. However, I'm not a fan of this type of magazine. I prefer the preloaded rotary type like on the FX Impact. The problem with this type like the WildCat MKII is that when you remove and reinstall the mag it isn't idiot proof as to lining it up so that your on the next pellet.

My compressor runs about 130-140f on average. It starts at ambient and builds up to that range but so far it hasn't exceeded that temp. Seems like the flow rate vs the heat produced finds an equilibrium about that temperature. The area of concern would be the o-rings in the high pressure side...

Sounds like a binding issue. Either the cocking lever bolt is binding with the tube? Or the hammer pin is binding with the breech The little pin that is installed in the hammer. ((If I remember correctly one side is long then the other)). May be you have it installed upside down. Flip it...
