I am waiting to see if this works, my neighbor is a gun buff, he put medium lock tight on all the threads, moved the scope so the rings rest against the bells on both the front and back so scope cannot move, made sure I had good eye relief ! Now I wait a couple days for it to set up.

I have a question being new to Airgunning , " Do the air rifles that are charged from a tank or hand pump have the same recoil effects on your scope as a springer or piston charged rifle ?

Well I found the problem , the scope screws came loose, I was wondering why do I seem to be moving back on the scope, duh !! It came loose, have to get some MEDIUM, thread locker.

I tried the adjustment on rear of scope, even the gun smith did, didn't clear, is the 3x9 Hawke an air gun scope ? I just want to get into air rifles , not break the bank, thank you I will check out your advice.
