    Zero recoil mounts ?

I have Hector's accurized versions on all my TX200 rifles. I am using scopes that are for the most part irreplaceable, like the Premier modified Leupolds, so I just want to be sure the scope lasts. Off the shelf, these mounts have too much movement, leading to POI shifts; found that out the...

Tuning Air Arms Cocking Aid, TX200 & HC : drilling and tapping

Mine is starting too move some and before it gets to far along, I am going to fix it. I am going to locate the exact spots the grub screws hit the lever and use a small sharp drill to create a hollow for the grub screw to grad into. Seems simple enough and I hope it does the trick. Not...

    TX200 trigger adjustment ?

Cliff is humble and modest. He does know what he is talking about when it comes to the TX. Tim

Formerly PCP only now really into springers

In FT competition, I shot PCP for about 16 or 17 years. I shot Daystate, Ripley, Walther, Theoben, ld/SS, USFT and Steyr. I picked up a TX200 Mk2 about seven years back and transitioned to Springer over the next couple of years. Now I pretty much shoot the the three TX200 rifles I have set up...

    RAT TARGET MOD AND UPGRADES

Brad is a real innovator for sure. When he has an idea, I always pay attention, right back to when he had the plans for the wooden targets with big metal washers for hit zones. I still have a couple of those around. His self resetting targets were also awesome.

    RAT TARGET MOD AND UPGRADES

I know what you mean. Sometimes the paddle just cannot come forward enough. I have done the same as you describe. I have not taken that target to the club yet where I have all the hardware to replace the rivets on the linkage and the washer you describe. Not doing that just makes it certain...

    RAT TARGET MOD AND UPGRADES

That tab, I just bend right out of the way as it is redundant with the spring installed. I have always found the tabs problematic. I also left the stud on the back to serve as a stop for the paddle. I drilled a different hole to attach the reducer to the front.

    RAT TARGET MOD AND UPGRADES

All I shoot is 12 ft/lb and they have all been fine. This one will get tested and used in our next match. The white in the back works very well too. Face will be painted white or yellow depending on which lane it ends up on. Paddle will be black.

    RAT TARGET MOD AND UPGRADES

Do you ever install a torsion spring on the main linkage bolt to put back pressure on the faceplate. I have done this on Diana/Remington targets and it makes them much more reliable. I just bend that little tab, that holds the bottom of the paddle, out of the way. The reducer on the front and...

Your usual nonbench rifle shooting position?

Since my main interest is field target, I do all my zeroing, pellet testing and the like from the seated FT position. I shoot three TX200 rifles, one HC, one regular length Mk3 and a Mk1 SR. I cannot remember the last time I used a bench or other support. On a shooting day, which never...

    TX200 Break-in

I do not know if tuning an already accurate gun, like AirShot has, actually makes a gun more accurate. I do know that my 22mm piston kit from Tony L. makes it easier for me to shoot accurately. The stroke is quite short, like the old 12 fpe pistons, and the piston is lighter as well. I feel a...

    Diana Bullseye ZR mount?

Unfortunately, I have not had direct contact with Hector since before COVID. I hope he still modifies them, but only he can say for sure. I hope he chimes in. Tim

Finally! Some nice FT practice weather!

I found some very large (10") popsicle sticks in a dollar store and picked up a pack. I have been using a very fine marker to put an intricate design on it and using that and the grain of the wood to focus on. This year, I am going to get string that can be frayed into very fine fibres and...

If you could bring one gun back from the dead, which would it be and why?

I would like the FWB 300S Universal as well, but since I shoot FT and not 10 M, it would be amazing at between 10 and 11 FPE. I shot mine at 8.5 fpe and even won a couple of local matches with it. Tim
