That is one beautiful air rifle! We call those a “Brum-Bow” as it was made in Birmingham (later ones were Turkish), it is a sought after gun! I have never heard of the breech being tight, what other brands of pellet do you have to try?

Today I shot an HW30s. Lots! I shot it in .22 and .177, from 6 ft-lb up to 10 ft-lb. I had kinda forgotten what lovely little rifles these are!

The first video is live, and I spent all day today working on a new kit for it. Oh, and I made three more “How to” videos on it. These will come out over the next few days, giving me more time. To make other videos……o_O

Accuracy stayed the same, but cocking effort is increased. Not bad, just more than before

I bored mine out and pushed the barrel further up. This reduced the overall length of the gun by almost 3” without having to shorten the barrel👍
