Extensively tuned this evening... rifle now does 274 m/s or 899 fps with the 18 grain. shot count is 49!!! and pellets start to drop with a cylinder pressure of 75 bar. I suspect that the reg pressure will be about 80 bar and those extra shots are the result of the large plenum that does not...

We have thought of this, turning the original screw with a 5 mm hexagon and the set-screw with a 6 mm. So hammer spring tension is easy to adjust without removing any screw (y);)

I also was thinking that! I know that HuMa is following this closely....perhaps:cool: For now I ordered a big FX plenum, although visually I think this is a bit too big, especially with a walnut stock. Does anyone know what the volume is of the three plenums that FX offers?

Next problem solved... The fact that the hammer spring screw is so loose has made a friend and fellow shooter me a wonderful solution. He turned a screw himself on the lathe that now serves as a counter to the original screw. It is now very easy to adjust the hammer spring without it turning...

I have a comparable problem, Yesterday evening I tuned the drs for the 16 grain pellets ( as long I have not recieved the big plenum) and it was spot on 885 FPS. This afternoon I shot once agian over the chrony... first shot = 918 FPS, second =905 FPS and third... was 885 FPS I thougth if...

It can be it is a Chinese knock-off the left one on the picture. It came with a airgun I bought second hand a few years ago. µ But I was wondering why FX does not quite stick to their own design, even they tell on YT they did not change anything regarding the gauge?
