i run the accu-tac sr-5 g2 (longer legs). at 45deg, it is close to the same height as a "normal" bipod, but a lot wider in stance. also at 45 deg, the bipod doesn't rock back and forth at all. /obviously i do move it around on different platforms. :p

you can buy reusable desiccant packs online to put in the case (or safe) for some added protection. doesn't hurt to also wipe down the rifle with a reel and gun cloth or similar to minimize damage from the oil on your skin (contains acids)

yes. parallax may be 100 not 50.

i use a 1-10x lpvo on my L2, and the 1x is pretty darn close, but the parallax is fixed at 50yds, i use a high mount for both eyes open plinking at 1x, which is fine at any distance. you can't use 10x at 10yds (but why would i?). if you're really looking for utmost accuracy it isn't a good...
