I've sent the details to FX so let's see what they're reply is.

I only say that as the picture on the pdf shows the valve pin as having a 2 part section (o ring & metal perhaps) where it was a 1 piece derlin/acetal part before (below).

I think my valve pin is a new design fitted to the MK2 Impacts as detailed in the revised parts list - 2019 - 08 -02 - EN .19 . 01

It's a Gen 3 STX serial number 1844*2, has anyone else ever seen a valve pin / valve stem that looks like mine, I wonder why it was made this way? The valve house is also different to the one in the above picture as mine looks like the one below.

So I've started to strip my Impact down to try and figure out where the leak was coming from and found this when I removed the valve pin / valve stem which doesn't look right so can someone tell me if it is right and if there's suppose to be a gap where I've arrowed (red) or is the white o ring...

I've owned my Gen 3 AMP regged Impact X from new and have put a few pellet tins through it with no issues until today. I'd been testing various pellets when all of a sudden after one shot it started leaking air out of the barrel, it was a rush of air more than a slow/slight leak. It continued...

Thank you Saltlake58 I understand your concern over the removal of the AT but it's the first thing air rifle shops & tuners do over here when tuning a regulated air rifle so I can't see it being an issue (copied from the website of one of the tope air rifle companies in the UK - Full strip...

 

 

Here's a picture of the anti-tamper that's used on a sub 12 fpe regulator adjuster screw so what do you think it is and is it just a case of drilling it out to enable regulator adjustment?

Thanks you Spray1Mark but I don't have, need or want a slot for an FAC air rifle on my licence!!! Having just bought the .177 Impact I'd like to be able to adjust it so that I'm getting the best balance for power and efficiency whilst still keeping it under 12fpe as it's currently running too hot.
