I have one throttled back to 610FPS with 9.1G 177 pellet. I easily get 6 magazines of 14 rounds per fill, with probably 2 more mags if I wanted. That is 7.5 FPE, and it tears right through the targets in the house. I have another set up for outdoor silhouette at 820 FPS with 9.1 grain...

I love my 14 round 177 mags in my HW100s. Fast/easy to load, you can see bad skirts, takes a while to shoot 14. Easily the best mag I ever used in an air rifle.

I would swap out the scope rings. Then give it a try. Easy to eliminate that possibility quick. Even better if you have another scope and rings that could be tested. Then you probably know if it is the rifle or optics. Some times finding the problem, it just eliminating possibilities...
