This what I'd like to do, but as you can see there's a seam from the 2 halves of the stock right where you'd ideally put two screw holes.

I'd like to attach another rail on the stock right in front of the trigger guard. I use a tripod while hunting, and if I could put my Arca rail adapter on, it would be a lot more stable than the squeeze type saddle mount. Since the stock is a 2-piece clamshell, the plastic is too thin to hold...

Going after rats (inside a chicken coop) with this tonight.
