john i phoned crossman tech.dept. they told me that the benjamin 317 was deemed unsafe as it would fire when dropped because of this they had destroyed all paper work n parts John i am thankfull for your help even if i run into a wall. Hopfully this experence n information will save...

I have got a benjam franklin model 317 in .177 made around 1957.Someone has taken the seals off the pump rod n maybe something else ? I need to find a place to get a schematics to see just what else maybe missing.I also need to know where to get the parts ,seals for sure . Might someone know...
