I'd be tempted to shoot a coyote with my 25 cal Wildcat MK3 at close range if that's what's in my hands. But if I were intending to hunt coyote it'd be 30 cal or above.

Your setup is good for indoor shooting of rats, and avoids over penetration after it goes through the rat into barn materials.

.25 cal at 25 grains @ 875 fps will take them with a good shot. Although other than the head will require a follow up. .25 cal shooting 34 grains @875 is the better option. And yes, I've killed them with .177, but ain't pretty.

I know this thread is old, but many like me have 5 year old avengers prime to start leaking. The plug where the fill valve is takes a 20 mm wrench. The air tube end caps take 24 mm. All are difficult to remove. Yes, they had thread lock. Had to put in vice (use rubber or jaw covers) and use heat.
