Don't kid yourself! The Umarex Gauntlet 25 is one fine rifle for the money. The trigger is exceptional especially so for the price line. One of my shooting buds uses one, and consistently hits pigeons at his dairy farm, out to 100 yards. I don't know for sure, but I suspect he's shot it over...

This subject has been breached before (excuse the pun). In order for any arrow-shaped projectile to fly straight, it must have some sort of stabilizing feature, just like pellets do. In the case of pellets, it is the skirt and the spin of the rifling. An arrow—bolt—must have a skirt of sorts...

Let's see. Amazon, Sam's Club, Walmart, Target, and many others, ship on-line purchases the best way FOR THEM, not you! But then again, they're trying to compete. Apparently AoA doesn't care. Good or bad, they do have a few things you can't buy any other place, and the SuperSear is one of them...

If you lived where I live (Hill country of west Texas), you wouldn't be messing with turning turrets. If you were to do so, most of the game would be long gone!

Get the one which clamps on the breach, not the ones that clamp on the barrel. While you're at it, buy a SuperSear from AoA.

The last two shipments of tins I received from Pyramyd were all labeled M72/09. Compared to the ones marked CZ, they shoot (in my Flex) a bit low, and a bit to the right. A couple of clicks, and I was back on target. The cause for the displacement could be anything.

Mirage can indeed be your friend. But, at low power settings (3X to say 5X), seeing mirage is a bit difficult, unless it is REALLY hot. Down here in the hill country, it never gets hot enough, unless you're looking through 10X or perhaps 20X.

My two cents. Any, properly-tuned, regulated airgun with an LW (or similar quality) barrel and the correct ammo, will hold 1/2 inch, 100 yards groups, at an indoor range, using a machine rest. Anything else is less! That leaves three issues: The trigger, the scope, and the shooter. All too...

This all boils down to which method you're most comfortable with, but messing with the turrets for every shot seems like a big waste of time. While reading this thread, I kept asking myself, why do scopes have MOA and Mil dot reticles, if indeed you're going to mess with the turrets? We are...

I agree AJ. Dome pellets stretch the surface tissue of game to the point they tear it open. In comparison, pointed pellets tear the surface tissue much easier, and do less damage in my opinion. Your comment about pellets not deforming is true too. In fact, unless you're shooting a coyote and...
