I pumped for a couple years. It’s a drag. All lower pressure guns than what you want.

The recoil pin is used to stop creep. It stops it on my HW and the hole is fine. get good dove tail mounts and you will be fine on the TX.

Look at it this way. You will eventually have a less expensive gun and more expensive gun. So does it really matter which you buy first? Spend what you can, save up and do it again. Rinse and repeat until you have 10 or more.

You have already answered your own question. Go with your gut.

Most of my shooting is in the basement at 10 meters. At that distance I can tell if a barrel hates a pellet. No point in trying farther if it won’t shoot @10m. This does not mean that one that does well @10 will do any good @50

The $30 speed meter on Amazon is a wonderful thing. That should be a good compressor, I have the 3. The gun, well many to chose. First is what type of shooting will you do the most? Always under 50y guy has different needs than one who wants to shoot 100y.

How many pumps? I think mine was 600 with 7 grain pellet @10 pumps.
