Very mild polishing using JB Bore pastes may turn a good shooter into an excellent shooter. However, it will never make a crap shine. Buy a raw LW barrel and adapt it to your gun.

Am I right that standard LW barrels in .22 are accurate enough and their standard .25 barrels pose some accuracy problems?

I do not like that barrel mounting system. It chokes the barrel right in the loading port.

You need to try a couple of different settings and check the accuracy. Harmonics play a role here.
