I always use a dye on figured wood to pop the grain. Usually i like to make the wood warmer with yellow and red. My favorite is to use 2 stains. First the yellow and then the red. The red, being second, wont be absorbed as much and will just highlite. For yellow, maybe use "new maple" and for...

Finally figured out the iphone 6 camera specs. It shoots 240fps at 720P (1280x720) which seems good enuf to save a few bucks. Only issue is the way the phones camera is always in the corner it must be unbalanced and more shake artifact (im guessing).

My tank (from R&L airguns) also came without a valve. And gun case was too short for gun. And scope mounts wrong type. Very frustrating but after 2 days and 8 hours of driving around got everything fixed. I also have a fantastic wood shop in Chicago. Anxious to see how your project turns...

I bought a Hawke Sport Optics HK3035 3-9x40 Rimfire for my FX Wildcat. I find the scope great EXCEPT it only works from 3-7 magnification. Higher than that the reticle becomes blurry and it annoys me immensely. But what do you expect for $107? Will get a better scope in a few months...

I ordered a photon XT 4.6x42 nightvision for the 0.25 FX wildcat that is supposed to arrive in 2 days. Im planning on shooting mostly racoons and skunks at night when they are harassing my dog and creating general havoc with trash etc. But I wish someone could recommend a good quickrelease...
