Hi all. New member here from Australia

Hi Dave. Welcome to the forum! Yeah a lot of things on here are unavailable for us Aussies but still a lot of great info to dive into. Where abouts are you located? I'm in south east QLD. James.

    Slug with a polymag tip?

Thats a lovely looking projectile, Michael! I wonder could you make a mould that you could inject hot glue into to form a plastic tip? At airgun speeds and pressures I wouldn't imagine it would melt upon firing but I may be wrong. James

Weirdest Place You Have Ever Shot An Air Rifle...⚖️🚽🗝🇬🇧🚢🛸

On two separate occasions I shot rats that ran under our oven inside the house. Lying flat as a tack, with the gun lying on its side on the floor and only looking along the barrel to aim. FX Royale 22 on low did the trick with no wall damage.

🤔 The Meaning of "FX" == For Xareful shooters only... 🤔

I for one really wish that the original smooth twist barrels were an option on all new FX models. I have owned both original and the X barrels and absolutely love the old style. Solid, accurate, never have to clean, no change in POI. Especially on the dreamline platform as not many people are...

    FX 400

I started with a Royale 400 and after going through a lot of the other FX models I have gone back to my only PCP being a Royale 400 in 22. It does everything I and most people would need. Consistent, accurate, quiet, light, solid barrel that doesn't change POI, high shot count (I have a 500cc...

Which Airgun would y’all recommend in .22 caliber

I would highly recommend a second hand FX Royale 400 in 22. High shot count, very accurate, quiet and reliable. Hand pumped one for a long time and was not a problem. A reasonably short pumping session in front of the telly will get you over 100 full power shots and heaps more on medium and low...

    FX Impact barrel support concept

Great idea mate. I reckon the STX barrels are a bit too whippy in general. Especially the longer ones. I actually thought a while ago that a picatinny rail mounted extension would work well too. Either off the top if you mount the front scope rings back a bit or off both side pic rails. Might...

    Daystate Delta Wolf...?

I'm guessing Red wolf running gear in a bullpup configuration and a high capacity magazine. Also maybe a larger battery pack to run some sort of electric cocking? No hammer spring to compress so might actually be feasible and power efficient?

Ever want to sell every PCP? Just go back to tuned springers?

Depending on the day but one of each is quite a good balance for me. Royale 400 in .22 and a HW30 in .177. Honestly I have been using the 30 a lot more lately just to feel like a kid again, walking around with a pocket full of pellets and a light springer. Magical. James

can someone tell me the purpose of "following" another member?

I like to follow people who have the same model airgun that I have so that if they post anything related to it I can learn or help them with it.

    FX Owners Please .

This might be a silly question but did you take the cap off the end of the tube instead of twisting it to the right place? This would let the probe go too far in.

    Fires and friends in Australia

Thanks guys. It's been getting pretty hectic over here. Some wet weather would be a big help if you could send some prayers for rain this way. James.

Same to you mate! Ready for a hot one while all these other buggers are sitting in the snow? James near Toowoomba.

    Huben New Look!

Lovely, mate. Did you mean to put the barrel/shroud clamp on backwards?
