    Red-dot sight

It's not so much the choice of your airgun (as you should be able to choose the one you want and sight it up accordingly) but the type of Red dot you buy. After the last 10 years I'm pretty much done with Micro Reflex. They promise so much, being compact, good looking and having no effect on...

What pistol did you shoot today

That's great information friend thank you. It looks very nice with a clean simplicity just like the 150 it's fixed to.

    Beeman Beeman Hurricane

Can be one of 3 reasons. Most common is the trigger lightening adjustment screw has gone too far to the far margin and not holding sear. If you can draw your barrel back but it's not holding this is the reason and the simplest first step. Simply adjust the trigger adjustment screw back a turn...

What pistol did you shoot today

Yes, if the barrel is not stamped .22 on the top, it is not from the Webley factory but one made in Turkey. These were made to suit the Turkish lower body after the Webley factory closed and not that compatible with the OEM Webley/ Supplied to Beeman/USA model you have there. Luckily for you...

You could try a couple of dry fires to ensure sealing and a touch of Silicone oil. It's not recommended for mating steel parts like cocking linkages but the slight meniscus it makes allows PTFE seals to seal. Also you could get the spring out to inspect for straightness.

Don't forget the RWS 5 grainers are going to be a good 2 grains lighter than the Hobby and should be coming out in the upper 400s or even 500 when at 5 grains. This means nothing is wrong with the Hobby selection here. From your information the gun is a good 50 fps down on only average potential.

The Tempest and all the other variants has the barrel above the cylinder to create a length which could correctly be handled as a pistol. It makes for a very appealing design. However, while far more appealing than any other pistol (the Crosman 150 and Abas major accepted) it has the piston...

During my 3 weeks in Florida years back, I was a bit shocked to find biscuits on the main meal id ordered and asked if they were chocolate, or plain and thinking they must include the sweet with the main meal over here. The waitress looked at me a bit dumb and rocked up 10 minutes later with a...

N/A What’s the most beautiful airgun you’ve owned?

Wadcutter that's a Beautiful gun, in the same beautifully simple way, it's English equivalent would be the Airsporter Mk1...never bettered IMO.....except maybe this. The Imperial Express.

Cheers buddy, I agree the true English can be a bit insensitive at times for the sake of making a jovial point. Sometimes the sense of humour is missed by the rest of the world and the dumb Englishman left wondering why he's upset people. That correct technique as you state (as far as Webley...

There's more than a few that wrecked their Jeans with grease stains trying to use their thigh as a pivot point between the barrel and the cylinder.

No honestly wasn't aiming to do that at all. Just suggesting shooters don't get too hung up on these guns being too tough to cock and possibly getting put off ownership. Maybe I should have clarified that. The force never stopped me shooting my first at 12 however, it might have caused my wrist...

Nice gun .....The constant grumble reg cocking the barrel of these over cockers was always a mystery to me. Quite strong as a kid, i cocked the things for fun...and using a variety of methods. Maybe the 1000s of rounds I put through the 5 models had during my youth resulted in me barely noticing...

    Finally found one - LP53

Design and build is there but the OEM duel spring aspect was poor. Robbing power, and introducing unnecessary twang in irony to their thinking of 2 springs adding power. The HW30 spring is perfect in fit, and is one of the worlds best mainsprings in terms of Lasting quality. There is 2 short...
