N/A What air pistol do you use for pest control?

    Yes it will. Don't miss.

N/A What air pistol do you use for pest control?

Yes, it is possible to dial the GK1's power down, but the time that it takes to do that is far too long for an immediate pest shooting opportunity. I leave my GK1s set for 700 fps. My PP700SA is set up for 600FPS with a 15gr JSB pellet. I have ruined the day of many pigeons at 100 meters with...

    N/A Pistol Shooting Eye Fatigue

Your issue is technique. You are looking too hard focusing on the sight not the target. Use both eyes. With a reflex sight, your focus should be the target. With iron sights, your focus should always be the front sight. The best reflex sights are ones with really good polished glass and many...

N/A I want a cheap, really precise pistol with enough power to do small game

Then you do not want an ai Inexpensive and PCP air gun is mutually exclusive, with one exception, the PP700SA. It is adequate for mice, rats and birds and inexpensive. But inexpensive and hunting slightly larger game, a 22LR is much more practical.

N/A What air pistol do you use for pest control?

I have two GK1s in .25. They are too powerful on infrastructure for close in-house/barn pest control even at mid-power settings. I use my pp700SA in .22. Very accurate and not too destructive.

    Huben Huben GK1 Canadian Version.

I think this thread is BS. I'll bet $ to donuts that the GK1s sold in Canada are the same sold everywhere else. The GK1 is totally adjustable for power. There is no reason they should be different from an engineering point of view. It also looks like becoming the 52nd State may be very good idea!

Thomas Air Damaged skirts, does it really matter?

Pellets are made made from pure lead and very soft. Most pellets have skirts larger than the head diameter. So when they enter the barrel, the skirts are swaged to the barrel sealing in the propellent HPA propelling them. If the pellet damage is relatively light, they will still fly straight...

Huben Huben GK1 .25 for back yard?

If you want power in any pistol, it will be proportionally loud. A good tight, well aligned silencer really helps. The GK1 is very loud when dry firing because barrel back pressure helps to close the valve, so don't dry fire outside! I have 2 GK1s in .25 and use them in my back yard without a...

    N/A GK1 slow leak

It is normal. You do not have a leak.

    HPA Compressor Crossroads…?🙈

Karl, that compressor is still running fine today and it runs every day and has now for 10 years. You are certainly welcome to your opinion. It is your loss not mine.

    HPA Compressor Crossroads…?🙈

Karl you could not know that without physically inspecting every one of those compressors. Yes, good parts are expensive, but the end unit will always be the quality unit you want and still at an affordable price. I'll give another personal experience. I was given a commercial diving Bauer...

    Huben Huben GK1 Loading Question

I believe the advice belongs to an empty air tank, which makes some sense as the shut off valve is biased by tank pressure. In other words there needs to be some air tank pressure. You are also correct that there is less detent pressure on the magazine lever when the tank is at less than max...

N/A Aigunsmithing Tools - Advice and Suggestions

There is no substitute for good tools. Never buy Mickey Mouse, inexpensive, non-professional tools thinking you are saving money. You are not. Buying tools of any description is a life time investment. I will further state that an old professional tool will always be better than a shiny new...

Huben Huben GK1 Target Groups (photo thread)

Like most things in life, compromises must usually be made everywhere. Revolvers are no exception. In rifles bullet jump after ignition is controlled by limiting the headspace when cutting the chamber to just a few thousands of an inch. The shorter the bullet jump the lesser the shock of...

Huben Huben GK1 Target Groups (photo thread)

I have explained this beforeseveral times. I will repeat this explanation again one more time. Both the K1 and the GK1 are revolvers. All revolvers require a magazine retention mechanism. In the case of powder burners, it is the flanged cartridge case. In the case of the K1 and GK1 it is the...
