What is funny is that if I am shooting in my basement the exposed insulation really keeps the noise down. To the point that my family doesn't even know that I am shooting. On the other hand, if I take it into the backyard, it is much more audible. Thought that was interesting.

Yes people are using it. The only one I know of is on a 600mm barrel and it sits past the handguard. It will if you have a different mounting plate than the ADM. I have a Larue on mine from before they came with mounts and it works fine.

I got mine out, and the extended pin that came with the handguard ended up being the same length as the stock one. 

The top tube is hitting, I checked the pins last night, and it looks like they are the same length. Will have to shoot Brian an email(and order some more stuff haha)

That's weird, I changed mine out, and it is still not able to lock. Same setup, 300cc bottle and carbon handguard. 

You could always see if the 600mm barrel would extend past the carbon handguard and then you could do both.

Now that I look at it, the new moderator looks like it might be 50MM and not a 40MM.

How many fills are you guys getting with the 300cc bottle from a scba tank? I have been looking at the calculator from AOA and it looks like the amount of fills from a great white is super low. I am hoping I am not entering the information wrong, but it looks like getting a large SCBA might not...
