[WTS] Air Arms S510 Superlight stock - Hunter Green in poplar

I figure someone has got a nice S510 with a heavy laminated target stock and might like to have a lightweight stock to take it hunting. ...or maybe you have an S510 (or S410 or S400 or S500) and you messed up the stock somehow? Here's a nice one and you can save your messed-up one for field...

[SOLD] .22 Air Arms S510 Extra FAC w/4 mags, hunter green (reduced price to $850)

$850 with four magazines. The rifle is overall in very good condition. Cosmetically, I'd give it a 9/10. It's worn a bit shiny in the touch areas. No bad scratches. The mags all have new O-rings. I will include a full set of replacement Air Arms OEM O-rings for the rifle, too. I bought them for...

    [WTS] .22 Air Arms S510 Extra FAC w/4 mags - $1k

The rifle is overall in very good condition. Cosmetically, I'd give it a 9/10. It's worn shiny in the touch areas. No bad scratches. Aside from that, the only flaw is that one of the magazines isn't 100% reliable. These mags don't have a spring mechanism in them, so they never clip the pellet...

Stoeger S4000E Black Synthetic Suppressed rifle combo

Frank, one thing I found with my S8000E-TAC is that at 10 yards, my groups are about the same whether standing offhand or rested. This tells me that it is hold-sensitive enough that the extra stability provided by a rest is canceled out by being rested. The firmer it's rested, the worse it gets...

My little girls first deer (Texan SS 457)

Great story. She looks quite proud of herself, and maybe not much older than my daughter. Mine is nine and likes shooting her (Daisy) Buck, but isn’t interested in shooting animals. She wants to be a vet when she grows up. The world needs all kinds! Do post a pic of the meal, when it...

Quick Evening Hunt - Got Him!!

The wild ones are more wary than the back yard ones. Also, as you said before, this is Hawk territory, so the careless ones don’t last long enough to breed, I bet…

And then there were 3 and a broken magazine

A pigeon at 72 yards with .177 is an amazing shot; well done! Probably only had four FPE by the time it hit home, but it was enough. Good luck with the interview next week. If you get it, will you be able to with the other two jobs?

    Another lunchtime nutter

I came home today for lunch. I was eating my sammich when a nutter came directly under the tree at the back of my yard and was eating there. I went downstairs cracked the back door, flipped off the safety and lined up on her. She was facing me and I went for the forehead shot. I sent the lead...

Too much time with PCP's, My HW50S Project

I vary between springers and PCPs. I like springers better for plinking and PCPs better for pesting. HW30s is one of my favorites. I don't know why you'd want an HW50s for basement target shooting or plinking over an HW30s. The OP here pretty much just down-tuned his HW50s into a slightly...

Recommend me some pellets for my new hw50s

HW50s is a low power gun, around 10-11 FPE, I think. I would start with something light. 15-16 gr. will probably be the heaviest you'll want to use. I've found the pellet samplers from straightshooters.com to be pure gold.

Air Venturi AVENGER (Bullpup) Full Review

I used to do some editing in my videos, but it took forever; I just don't have the time, since it isn't my full-time job. Now, I do them in one take and just point the viewer to a review thread for targets and such. (some people still like more detail in text reviews) I figure that although my...

    Spring Air Gun for Groundhogs

A good inexpensive option would be the Crosman Diamondback in .22. I have one just broken in and I'm working on the review now. I'm getting about 1/4" groups at 10 yards, 1-1/4" at 25 yards, so that's accurate enough for head shots on groundhogs at 10-15 yards. They go for $160 at full price...

    Pitbull v. coyote

I don't think I'd bother to mount her, but since you've got a few more on the way, I think I'd maybe start getting the pelts tanned. Three of them will make a nice warm throw or even something nice for your dog to lay on, on a cold winter day. Wouldn't that be appropriate!? :-D For my part, I...

    Yesterday’s hunt

Nice hunt and nice hunt pic. Are you going to make chili with them now? Here's how i like to do it: Get the boilermaker chili recipe from allrecipes.com. Instead of using 1 part sausage and 2 parts ground beef, use 1 part sausage and 2 parts squirrel. I pre-cook the squirrel in the pressure...

    Best Crosman bolt thread locker?

I think I would take a two-pronged approach: [LIST=1] Use red Loctite on the threads for now. Note that red is not permanent, it just takes heat to remove it later. It doesn't necessarily need to be a blowtorch; that's kind of extreme. A soldering gun would probably do it with some patience...
