Sorry, I just saw your question. I have sold my Vulcan, and no longer have the part. The key is in the message above, 31.. outer piece , and I cut it between 2 and 3 fingers wide. My post of March 3, 2023 shows what I ended up making. Hope this helps. Sleeper

I really could not tell any difference, but I ordered it when I ordered a heavy spring. I got into a Revere, which is what I was headed towards before I traded for the V3. The V3 is a great gun, and has put many squirrels in the freezer, but I really prefer a traditional style rifle.

I am not sure, I think I made it about 2 1/2 inches but I bet it is not critical.
