.25 is too powerful and I'm getting too many pass through on my targets. I'd like to trade for a .22. I can include 4 mags and a mag holder. I may consider another eastern European pcps .22 but would prefer a compact taipan or uragan.

Right about there behind the eye usually does the trick for me.

I've taken them with cheap .177 break barrels to high end .25 pcps. It's all possible but bigger is definitely better. I typically use a .22 hadies and it's usually lights out first shot

I had one for a short time and it is a good pcp and built like a tank. Make sure you get extra high rings for it.

I also have a veteran and a cricket tactical and agree with you. I feel the taipan is more polished as far as feel, function and sound but I do really appreciate the forward cocking and bottle on the cricket. Both are great and have exceeded my expectations
