A friend and I started into the PCP world with Marauders. Good rifles for the entry price and experience, but we quickly moved in the FX rifles. So much nicer, but you are paying twice as much... at least!! We upgraded one of our Marauders best we could but it did not even come close to the FX...

I third the FX Dreamline! Buy once cry once!! Between a buddy and I, we have several FX rifles now: a Crown, a Impact and a Dreamline Tactical. All shot awesome right out of the box. If you shop a bit, you can get it done in your budget.

I bought a good knock grip from eBay that had the palm shelf for $20 where name brand ones were well north of that price!

Between my buddy and I, we have three FX rifles, FX Crown, FX Dreamline in Saber Chassis and an FX Impact MkII. They are fantastic. My Dreamline shot <1.0" groups at 100 yards out of the box (.30 caliber - 44.8 grain). I might have to add this one to the collection.
