Air Venturi Which NSA slugs work well in the avenger .22?

Very informative. It's not as visible but there's a second smaller indent which would make sense. I like to tighten stuff down so it's tightened down. Sometimes so much so that something strips. I'll have to be a bit more gentle I guess

Air Venturi Which NSA slugs work well in the avenger .22?

Speaking of the avenger barrel here's a picture showing an imperfection in mine about 2 inches from the breech end. I not sure if I made it when hammering out a jam with the first thing I could find which were some welding rods or if it came that way. It still shoots pellets fine, maybe because...

Thanks a lot for your response @EmptyTin_Tim! That's exactly what I wanted. Also your test results match up with bits that I've read elsewhere.

Air Venturi Which NSA slugs work well in the avenger .22?

I guess the accuracy I get with pellets has me spoiled. With CPHPs I was happy when I got a 1.5 moa group at 50yd and with JSB 18.13 gr I'm satisfied if I get 1 moa at 50 yd (5 shot groups). My goal with slugs would to shoot 75-100yd. If I only wanted to shoot till 50yd I'd probably just stick...

Air Venturi Which NSA slugs work well in the avenger .22?

Ok so yeah NSA has a sale right now and I'm interested. Have you had good accuracy with them in the avenger .22? Which ones and what diameter? I read somewhere that the 20.2 gr .216 do good. I'm particularly interested in the 17.5 gr. Any experience with those? With those then I'd try shooting...

Low End Vs High End Bipods

I have the cheapest one I could find that had s-lock (a must have imo) and a sling stud adaptor included. I think it's a knockoff of a Harris. I've removed the whole tensioning system and and can bolt it directly to the adaptor. So far it has worked decently fine although I've had to fix some...

From which point do you range your targets?

Lots of great answers already. One example where it matters for me would be the 30yd challenge. Being the type of guy that I am, I won't shoot a card at 29yd when I'm supposed to do at 30. I think for targets I personally have used the scope as ground zero but usually add about 1/2 yd to be on...

From which point do you range your targets?

We Belizeans also still use the imperial measurements. My scope is mil which I find really nice when dialling (except imo the 1/10 mil clicks are a bit too big for precision stuff) but the measurements don't mean much to my brain.

You people in the US are spoiled on waiting times. It usually takes 2 to 3 weeks till I have my goodies in hand.

From which point do you range your targets?

Ok this is maybe a silly question. From where do you range for target shooting (when range matters) or zeroing your scope? From the muzzle, scope or shooter? Yeah it's not gonna be much more than a yard of difference, but that would still be a yard.
