No not at all 😁, I can use a air rifle but the largest animal is i the pest category. Armadillos, hog, coyote or foxes from what I can remember

Looking at getting a big bore, but trying to decide what caliber. Here in Louisiana it looks to be illegal to take white tail deer with a air rifle. Would it be overkill to purchase say a. 50 caliber, if I don't need the extra? 

I have a. 25 marauder and looking for ways to improve performance.
