If you are shooting up like in a tree the target spot changes. If the are looking at you just above the eyes and if they are looking up you shoot about where the jaw meets the neck. As someone else said you have to imagine the bullets travel 3d. So picture where the brain is and judge...
I have killed several coons with the very same power level in 22. Having hunted coon in my younger days with 22 lr I can tell you not all are clean kills no matter what you shoot them with. Some die hard, but that's the chance you take with any animal you shoot. Head shots do not always mean...
No that is about spec. They are heavy but shoot well. Their barrel is .303 and you need to shoot that diameter slug to get any accuracy. I shoot 47.2 NSA's and they shoot pretty good but the 50 gr pellets shoot better. Look for a used one they will sell for about half price.
I have a 30 Terminator. It shoots well and hits hard about 100 ftlbs. I'm shooting 50.2 gr FX pellets and I can hit golf balls at 50 yds with it. In fact I was shooting some yesterday. It makes quick work out of them.
Thanks Al I completely left that out. Duh...... Fifty yards. I told a friend that the other day and his experience was the same as mine. I carry the SS or my 25 carbine twice a day walking the dogs. The SS in the picture shows wear on the receiver and the shroud. Thats from me...
My 22 SS shooting FX 15.9 gr pellets starts out at 910 and bottoms around 780 for two 17 rnd mags. There is 1/2" verticle variation from first shot to last. First 70 fps there is no drop in point of aim. I'm shooting with a .3L bottle filled to 230 bar. I can shoot it at 250 if I shim the...
There are programs for your illness. Their is Airgunoholics (Hi! My name is Dairyboy I am an Airgunoholic.) Yoga. (mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm), or you can simply tell your wife what you paid for the Taipan. She will help you with it.
I've had two 25 mags since last summer. I have had zeero issues with them. Just purchased two for the 22 cal and have been using them with sucess. Expensive but worth it IMO.
So did that fix it? I had one that leaked like that and it took forever to get it to seat, I ground a round stone to 45 degrees and honed it with a drill and finally got it to seat to a valve. What did you do?
Get in touch with the vendor. My 30 shoots harder than that. Make sure there is nothing (like part of a pellet) jammed up by the poppet rod. That can shorten the stroke when you fire. If it is not that it is probably a weak hammer spring.
The barrel in the OP's opening needs crowned if it shoots bad. The first thing I do is shoot the gun and see what groups I have. To touch up a crown that puls fibers off a Q-tip I use a brass piece cut at 45 degrees and valve grinding compound in a lathe. I bump it with the tail stock crank a...
Nice steady string. Have you dialed speed down? My SS shoots more in the low 800's. I get 34 shots to point of aim at 50 yds before it drops off with the .3 L tank. Starts out at 820 and goes to 780 fps.
Just made these two yesterday. One is 1/2" OD x 1.25" one on gun is .375" x 1.25. Larger one went to a guy in Florida. How many shots are you getting with the cricket regulator?
