The burst disc is on the valve. I'm changing the valve to a 4500psi fill station valve therefore the burst disc should be adequate for 2900psi. The question is will the tank itself hold 2900 psi with out any problems.

I purchased a chrome-moly steel 12oz paintball co2 tank, I want to use it on my pcp that has a 2900 psi fill, can anyone tell me if this tank will hold 2900 psi. Thank you very much, your suggestion worked almost perfect. Got a 10 shot recorded group and only fired 11 shots. The sun was burning the fog off on the next group I tried and only recorded 2 out of 5 shots so I stopped at that. Luckily I live 2 miles from the ocean and we get a lot of foggy...

Wish I would have talk to you before buying a chrony, it was a toss up between the Caldwell and Competition Pro Chrony looks like I choose the wrong one.

Sounds like the fx is the chrony I should have bought instead of this pos caldwell.

I've tried shooting everywhere you can think of got a little to close yesterday and clipped the top of the chrony.

I'm going to try this today in the middle of the day not late in the evenings like I usually do if the fog doesn't burn off to early.

The reason some of us still use hand pumps is because we live on a very limited budget. A 40 dollar hand pump is a lot more affordable then a 300 dollar compressor. Myself I would rather save that extra 260 dollar's and put with other money I've saved and buy a new pcp, like the new Airacuda Max.

How much are the fx chronographs. I'm giving this pos Caldwell one more chance if it don't work it's going in the incinerator.
