In theory yes. However if you do use a regulator then all the cartridges will be at the same pressure and you will have more consistent velocity. Otherwise, regardless of tank size, each consecutive cartridge will have lower pressure.

Next step is check pin in the plastic gear that indexes magazine. They have a tendency to slide forward towards muzzle. This weakens gear engagement with magazine. Knock it back towards stock with pin punch.

If the magazine is not indexed correctly the trigger will not fire. I had indexing problems at 1 point. When gun wont fire just manual finish the magazine index. If this makes it work properly as a manually indexed gun, narrow the trouble shooting.

Dwell time is how long the valve stays open. Valve opens, pressure builds behind pellet, it starts moving, valve stays open as pellet starts travel, dwell ends and valve closes, air expands as pellet continues down barrel. Long dwell time more full pressure air behind pellet farther down...

9mm is a special setup and your best bet is to buy the 9mm. Downgrading 9mm works. Upgrading to 9mm will be a challenge.

Sounds like dirty check valve. Inspect and clean check valve under burst disk on top of compressor.

Use a bipod extension type device to move the optical chronos 12-18 inches from the muzzle. This will remove inconsistency from vapor cloud and lead fragments. On the pistols 6 inches may be enough.

That would be bad because it would start under pressure.

Burst disks do not normally use plastic seals. Why would you replace a 6k burst disk with 7.5k ? Are you filling iver 5k?
