 Ok, thanks everybody for your expertise and comments. I think my major issue was paying $600-1000 for an “air rifle” thinking I could just get another AR or Sig for the same price as venturing in to a realm which I know nothing about. I hope I’m over that. I was comparing apples to oranges...
