A request to all MD's / Club Reps.

Funny thing is Jeff and I can't even agree on what is considered an elevated target when we are setting out targets.

A couple of quick things to advance the conversation (not trying to stir anything up, just trying to get some perspective). If you PREFER to shoot with your eye 10 inches above the ground but you are forced to elevate your eye to 20 inches above the ground for 1 or 2 targets in a match, is that...

    Field Target Pistol

Unless I'm mistaken, I think Paul used a Marauder that he converted to a pistol. He's not super active on here but he might chime in in a week or two.

    Resources A word question - ?

Oh, this is an easy one. All words are made up. Actually I've heard campaign used this way in other shooting sports that originated in the UK, so I assume it's your run of the mill Anglo colonial-military knobbidness. We should ask David Slade, he put the "bidness" in "Anglo knobbidness".

I think Ken might have something to say about the Piston Rifle Championship, but Randy and Mark did great with the crutches. I wonder if Mark would have done better or worse if he hadn't broken his sticks after his last shot Saturday.

Here are some photos that sum up the shoot from my perspective (a bunch of folks standing around talking smack). There might have been some shooting as well, I wasn't really paying attention.

I should have taken a picture of Jeff climbing up there to get that target. Spoiler alert - he's alive.

Now that I have the scores entered, I can tell you that the lowest percentage non-positional targets today were the longer targets (Lane 1, far on lane 3, near on lane 15). Due to the swirly and gusty winds, that checks out. The kneeling lane was a struggle today, which is odd because it was...

Just a quick note as I am entering today's scores in airgunshoot.com . Thanks for the kind words, we really appreciate everyone that came out and shot. Especially the out of state shooters, I know what a time commitment it is to travel to a GP in a different time zone. Our goal was to have a...

    Air Shootist's 2024 NRL22 Season - Write-up & Discussion

Very smart rule change, that will open it up to a lot of different air rifles. Just to help people with the math, that means you can shoot a 40 grain projectile at 1112 fps. And more importantly, if you have a lower powered rifle, this will allow you to shoot a lighter weight slug or pellet at...

    Let's talk timers!

The battery cover on the Sper one likes to auto-eject. I recommend putting some tape on it before use.

Who's turn is it to go to Clifton for a quick "wellness" check?

What do you use as a stage timer.

Exactly. I just have to keep my phone on, and if my wife senses that I'm having fun for more than 90 seconds, she'll shoot me a text to pick up something from the store or do yard work.
