Sometimes internal regulators have to be messed with. I owned 2 different p35x, one was great oit of the box and the other required me polishing the trigger and also gerring to the regulator, it produced 32 fpe at 145bar on the reg., most are set to 115-125bar from the factory.

Ive had both. The p35x has much more power capability. I know the 35x has better valving as well. Please know what you are talking about. The P35x will do almost 35fpe in .177, where the regular version will only do 20fpe. It is a bit of work to get to the regulator, so you may want to send it...

Adjust the reg up, it will go over 30fpe. Sometimes they need a more stout hammer spring as well.
