Accuracy at 50 yards? How big are your groups?

I hear too many inconsistencies with accuracy when it comes to the Texan. A lot of complaints barrels are out of spec. I would never purchase something with so many bad reviews!

    Airforce Texan Carbine

When Air Force fixes the rust issue, maybe I’ll consider one, I doubt they will though. They charge too much already for what it is. Probably go with bush buck.

Airforce Cold weather Big bore shooting

No I would not buy any fx airgun for deer hunting. I bought a .25 for critters but it puts out almost 80 fpe which is a dead deer when shot in the head. I like the Texan, but it isn’t regulated. You air up when it happens to be warm and it cools off and your power/accuracy suffers. The accuracy...

That’s why you get a regulated gun

Not regulated. You fill in your garage and go hunting in cold weather, your air contracts lowering power and accuracy of your shot.

    First deer with an airgun.

No, it’s just a doe. I don’t take pictures of does just big bucks “:) I can take a picture of the head if you want? I used Zan .25 and the lead is softer than say NSA….just right. It penetrates and expands in the brain. No exit hole. Dead instantly.

    Fx impact brass adaptor help

I sent it in for warranty work. I think you all are misunderstanding, the threads stripped..and surprisingly easy, so if you eve have this screw back out…be VERY careful snugging it up. Those ports should be PERMANENTLY sealed from the factory or at the very least, use a screw other than brass!!

    Fx impact brass adaptor help

It wasn’t under pressure. I tightened until snug and then something popped. It wouldn’t back out cause the pop was the soft metal giving out. I honestly think it is the same situation as with the pellet probe set screw. So many people have had it strip out because it’s not a common Allen screw...

    Fx impact brass adaptor help

They should not be using soft metal on these plugs! Can the port where the brass adapter is just be filled with a resin to plug it up? Is there some other purpose for it other than a port to drill air passages? These should be sealed and loctighted at the factory. So irritating!!!!
