I have no experience with infrared flashlights besides a low quality energizer flashlight I own that has an infrared emitter. Generally, you get what you pay for when buying flashlights, generally.

The VORTEX was very good in it's day, a bit old hat now! the ELEMENT TITAN is exceptional value for money, the NEXUS? will if you were going to spend that amount then the NIGHTFORCE SHV is the same money as is the new ZIESS CONQUEST 6-24 V4, both have exceptional glass for the money!

I have the Optika 6 3-18x56 Very intrested in side by side comparison.

NX8, ATACR, ZCO are 3 roughly equally spaced tiers, to my eyes. The problem I had with my NX8 is that it was priced with scopes that give ATACR performance, so I sent it back. NF seems to be priced ~1K above the better values in their competitive set.

I'll check my inventory tomorrow, but I am sure the HM1000X is scalloped for single pellet loading. The main difference is the 1000x has the 1" longer receiver that gives a larger pre-chamber for the .25 caliber, hence even though regulated, it can spit out JSBs at 900 f/s quite easily.
