If you are looking for a gun for coyotes specifically, I wouldn't be messing around with .25. I would be looking at .30 and .357 exclusively. Will a .25 kill a coyote? Sure, but why would you want to buy a rifle for a specific task that would be so limited on range, and perfect shot placement...

I am in the same boat. I want to get a more powerful PCP for coyote, bobcat, and stray dogs. Been looking at .30 and .357. I think either would do the trick, but if I choose .30, I want to be at the higher end of the power spectrum. There are several that will get into the 150 fpe range for .30...

If you take the 30 min scba tank down to about 2200-2500 psi, it takes around 10 minutes to fill it back to 43000 psi. Give or take a few minutes, as I have never actually timed it...
