buy an air tank or a new compressor?

I bought my Yong Heng in 2018 and 6 months later bought another one to use as a back-up for some odd reason. Anyway, I am still using the original 4 years later and I'm filling bottles for 2 shooters. Luck!

    expiration dates on bottles

I bought mine 8 years ago already expired and use it constantly. I have 5 friends that shoot PCP and not a single one of us has a tank that isn't expired. Most would say this is a bad idea but you asked so I answered honestly. If we didn't have the ability to fill our own tanks then of course...

    Back in the game!

My temp gauge wasn't connected upon arrival either. I can't remember if it had batteries installed for temp gauge...my memory is awful.

Which is Quieter -- Stock Gen 2 Marauder (.22) or a Stock Gen 2 Fortitude (.22)?

I have had both...still have the fortitude. To my ears, the fortitude was quieter but it was also shooting with a little less energy. I can say that I really like my Fortitude with the ugraded Baker trigger. Fun, accurate and light weight.

    JSAR Raptor or Impact MK2

I am saving my pennies for the Raptor mini as my next PCP. I have been following the progression for quite awhile and am very impressed. I really like my FX WC so it's not that I'm against FX...great company. I like the idea of supporting a US company if it's putting out a quality product...

Squirrel Tails - what to do with them

I always keep a few around. I have given them to people who like to tie flies and also one lady who uses the hairs to make fine paint brushes. I personally have used them to pester neighborhood dogs (attach tail to fishing line) and as ornaments around my shop:)

So how fast do you shoot the Hades in .22?

I'm shooting the .22 hades at 890 with great results and .25 hades at 920 with good results...going to dial down into the 870-890 range on the .25's when I get a chance. So far I like the Hades.
